Reseller Web Hosting is a type of web hosting, wherein the owner of the account has the capability of using their bandwidth and allotted hard drive space for hosting the websites on the third party’s behalf. In case of the latter, the reseller is simply granted the permission of selling a certain amount of bandwidth and disk space to the customers without having to rent the server from the web hosting company, from whom the reseller account was signed with.

More about Reseller Hosting:

Typically, web hosting reseller might be a systems integrator, a web developer and a web design firm that provides web hosting as a type of add-on service. Reseller web hosting is an inexpensive method for web hosting firms to start a company. Most reseller hosting plans permit the resellers to select their own pricing structure and their own service plans.

In most cases, resellers are in a position of establishing their own branding through name servers and customized control panels. Reseller web hosting does not need extensive knowledge of the web hosting’s technical aspects. Normally, the responsibility of maintaining the hardware and network infrastructure rests in the hands of the data center operator.
